I looked into telegrams recently... the idea of sending a few just seemed delightfully retro. However, I was saddened to read that Western Union ended their telegram service on January 31st of last year. There's a new company that claims to have taken up the vacancy in telegram service, called http://www.itelegram.com/ but their lameness is appauling. For example, they charge $19 to send a telegram within the United States, it takes two days to deliver, and I suspect they just send them through the mail!
