Down here in Texas, I just voted on what is basically "Faggots Suck" amendment to the constitution, which would add something along the lines of "Marriage is between and a woman, and nothing even remotely resembling marriage is to be supported for same sex couples" to our constitution. This is redundant, since same-sex marraige is already illegal, and, well, I love gay people and don't want them to face any more barriers to hospital visits and such than they already face.
There was a bunch of other miscellaneous crap on there, too - something about unclaimed land in two pissant counties, and whether we ought to pay to move some railroads. How do I know? Why do I care? Bleh. Voting is hard.
